Tips For Better Prompts
A short prompt like “a cat” leaves the model guessing. Naming the subject, the setting, the style and the light gets a result closer to what you had in mind on the first try:
- Subject and action: what's in the frame and what it's doing, not just a noun.
- Style: photograph, oil painting, 3D render, flat illustration, pixel art.
- Lighting and mood: golden hour, neon-lit, overcast, dramatic shadow.
- Camera or medium detail: 35mm film, wide angle, macro shot, watercolor on paper.
